for some reason I've been try to think of a term from the 08 AD curriculum, and it's driving me mad. What is the term for the different ways to strike a drum? I have absolutely no need to know this term right now, but it's bugging the hell out of me.....

UC: All my friends suddenly decided to go get dates to prom, even though we weren't a'pos to so we could all dance freely with each other and not be tied down by dates. So now I have to find a date too or I'll have no one to dance with. I wish we could have at least decided on this earlier.
