All I did was ask if the guy stocking the shelves if the Giant Eagle brand applesauce ever goes on sale...he went to go ask another guy, came back with a slip, wrote down the product info and checked off "Sample" as the reason for "No Charge," handed me the slip and the biggest jar and said "here's a deal you really can't beat"

How long has the world been like this????

PS: I just had the loveliest time with my 78-year-old neighbor Luise...we shared artwork and talked about life and her cat Georgie liked me and I liked her, and we all just had a grand time together

Hopefully we are going to paint together before I move out, but I'm sure we'll stay in touch in the school year

PS: Went to HP7P2 at midnight
UC: Film Reel, not Digital Projection
HR: How the hell do you wear out a reel before it's played for supposedly the first time? There was a lot of graininess and flecks on the picture, some really bad screen tearing a few minutes in, and holy smurf it seemed like the new reel burn showed every thirty seconds

PS: Went and saw it again, 21 hours later
VPS: Digital Projection this time, should have a good picture, right?
HR: Wrong. The screen was bigger than the projector could support, graininess ensued.
VHR: Screen surface wasn't smooth enough.
AF: Movie was so dark you couldn't usually see
VVVHR: Except in King's Cross. So distracting it ruined the entire King's Cross Scene.
VVVVHR: Turn on the A/C or leave it off. Hearing it start up every eight minutes is a pain in the ass.
W, IDGASA (Whatever, I don't give a smurf anymore): Sound system sucked too.

Like, I don't wanna ever see another movie in theaters ever again.

Our local theater has this new XD theater thing, $14 a ticket for a mini-IMAX screen, clean leather seats, and a digital projection. Saw the midnight showing in 3D, and it was probably the best 3D I've ever experienced.

i saw it in 3d because they were sold out of 2d. some parts were cool, but for the most part i think it's gimmicky and distracting.

I was in the same situation. They only had 2 showings left, and both were in 3D, so I shelled out a few extra bucks for the nicer screen.
