Add in a teardrop here and there and that two minute drawing would probably have this argument won

PS: Although it's about as exciting as St. John's, it has much more epic scenery.

Yeah...cool, Arizona...I can save all of fourteen dollars, and undergo four hours of outright misery wherein a computer program tells me how to drive safely...Greeeeaaaat.

I am really hoping Arizona doesn't ever follow up on the three times I was caught on photo scanners around Phoenix.

UC: Because I said that, they will.

In the state of Arizona, the only legally-recognized citations are citations delivered in person. So, paying a ticket mailed to you is actually just a tax-free donation to the state.

That said, if you don't pay one mailed to you, you will typically be delivered one in person.

Obviously, you'll be okay in California.

Dammit Aaron scared me. Okay I'll make sure to tell Randy to just throw it away if it ever comes. He thinks they probably won't even bother to get in touch with our DMV.

Not if it's minor speeding. Fer serious, AZ kids, if you get popped by the traffic camera, then just shred the packet you get in the mail, because unless you were doing like, 20+ over the posted limit, they aren't going to bother delivering you one in person.
iMatt
Most of those photo-cam things are handled by a company in New York, as I learned when I payed a 100 dollar fine a few weeks back.

I should've researched a bit to see what IL does, and if they'd make the trek to WI to get their hands on untold threes of my dollars.

Randy is going to NAU, though, so if he were caught speeding/anything else in Flagstaff, he'd likely be in trouble.
TheWerg
Yeah he doesn't speed in that car since he is concerned about its breaking down and he just drives within the flow of traffic since its speedometer doesn't work. I was tired and wasn't used to not knowing how fast I was going so it was pretty bad.

That's dangerous when you're driving in Phoenix, and no one knows that the DPS traffic cams are calibrated to trigger at 11 m/h above the posted speed limit, and so instead they slow down to TEN MILES UNDER THE GOD DAMN SPEED LIMIT!
TheWerg
I triggered three of them. If I had been alert I would have realized that everyone else was slowing down for a reason but instead I just rushed on past. Damn, I didn't know his car could even get going that fast.

They go from 90 to 55 in three seconds, oblivious to the fact that they're not alone in the fifth largest city in the country.

Well tell him not to deal drugs, DUI, rob banks, or kill people either.

Or else he'll have to pay that ticket.

I think he might be in trouble then. That is like his four favorite things.

UC: Screw you, Microsoft. I'm not buying Vista and Windows 7.

If I install RC1 of Windows 7 until it comes out, I'd need to use Vista drivers or mess with the driver coding to allow the motherboard to function on Windows 7 (damn lack of support for beta...). Since the drives should be similar/the same as Vista, nothing should be radically different, but this still seems like a lot of effort to put in. I could install Linux for the time being, but that would still keep me short-handed in terms of functionality, as I couldn't run programs like Wine very well (I don't think) from RC1. I don't even know if Wine operates with RC1. BLEH.

the funny part is that he is mistaken. the shamwow is SO ABSURDLY ABSORBENT that it actually can tell you what to do if you made less than $60,000 in 2008.
