I remember when my family went up north to visit relatives around the time I was seven, and I saw my dad smoking a cigar. I basically came apart, crying uncontrollably and generally going apesmurf over the fact that my dad smoked. I was indoctrinated really well by public school, I guess.

Or you were just a wuss.

There was a guy at state for debate who had a tophat, an umbrella that he used as a cane, and a monocle. He was pretty fat and so he looked way too much like The Penguin. He did get second in state for parli, though, so I give him props. I guess.
iMatt
That took 1000 hours in photoshop, don't worry guys I have one of those time stopping watches, it all worked out fine.

I am soooo happy he is not on this team anymore. He is a terrible person, and I hate him for life. Which is hard, considering I loved him about 6 months ago.

yeah dani alves wasn't as good as usual. he kept making crosses, as if he didn't understand that even if he were dead accurate (which he wasn't) the odds of messi or iniesta winning a header against the chelsea d were infinitesimal. still, i'm sad to see him out of the final. when he understands that the purpose of his life is to one-two with messi, he's really effective

I resent that statement. I most assuredly would not. If a complete jerk plays for one of my teams, I call them on it. Sure Kobe is a great player, I won't discount him that, but he's a complete jerk and we have every right to say that he is.

He was quite amazingly off. He soared everything. And he forced Messi in too early on setups, instead on letting HIM take it on the outside and working his way in. He tried to win the game by himself. Thank god Iniesta actually can do that.
TheWerg
He's not a complete jerk. There are plenty of complete jerks in basketball (see: Stephon Marbury, most of the league). Kobe is a competitor. He doesn't talk trash like Artest or most of the guys. Everyone who's played with him, including your beloved LeBron, holds him in high esteem and respect. So get your facts straight.

yeah, iniesta has been absolutely unbelievable this season. i credit him with a lot of barca's success. him and pep, of course.

I have heard him make one good statement, and it was about how great America is during the Olympics, past that all I here is how great he is. And I said he was a great player, remember.

Kobe carried Lebron to a gold medal in the Olympics. Lebron kisses his autographed picture of Kobe every night before he goes to sleep, thanking Kobe for making him a better person, basketball player and giving him an impossible paragon of perfection to strive to be each and every day of his life.

Lebron would be nothing without his hero, Kobe Bryant.

This, my friends, is known as "the truth". I totally respect LeBron, and he'll ultimately surpass Kobe, without a doubt. But right now, Kobe is still on top of the game (although the difference between the two is so small as to be insignificant).

so what do you guys think about the final? should be good...but barca never scores much against english teams. the play there is too physical.
