Was that it?!

If that was it: I'm offended, not by the message but by the lack of deliverance on the hype.
laureus
It definitely wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
dizzyizzy
that was nothing
debator
literally the worst superbowl ad ever

worse than the ads for two and a half men.
overly_critical_man
On the plus side, Tim Tebow demonstrated tackling skills that he may apply in the NFL as a safety, since he sure as heck won't be a QB.
debator
seriously. it was like, why tf is a purported quarterback tackling someone? especially someone who was just talking about how into having babies she was?
dizzyizzy
I really thought that was a healthcare commercial.

I still do.

Two and a half men is a great show. I called the Barney Stinson phone number from the commercial and you get a cool message from Barney it was pretty legen-wait for it-dary.
overly_critical_man
So, was I the only person who wanted the dude that tackled Tebow's mom to have been Terry Tate, Office Linebacker instead of Tebow?

Two and a half men is a great show.

Weren't you the person on the old boards who kept getting his man card revoked? I think it's that time again...
beregond
I'm sure this was just a typo...or some misassociation, or something...but Barney is How I Met Your Mother. Not Two and a Half Men. Props to knowing the legendary deal, but get your epic comedies straight!

By healthcare, i meant in support of overall healthcare reform, not abortion.

I know, I'm saying as a sidebar that reminded me of How I met your mother because they are both on mondays on CBS.

Have you even watched? Yeah that's what I thought so you have no right to talk.
overly_critical_man
Two and a Half Men is basically Charlie Sheen in it for a paycheck now. This show is way way way past its expiration date.
the godfather
That's true, this season really is pretty weak, but at first it was really good.
overly_critical_man
So now, the complaint about this commercial is that it glorifies violence against women.

WTF
iMatt
That was super lame, the ad just makes me want to support tackling people out of the blue.

ie: The Office Linebacker.

Swing and a miss, strike one. My mother watches that show all the time which means I've been subjected to it.
debator
yeah dude it's a pretty popular show. making the assumption that he hadn't seen it was not a great idea.

Terry Tate FTW. Time to go back to YouTube...
