GREAT movie on the French Revolution during the Terror. WARNING: short nude scene at the start. It's a kid in the bath, being washed by his elder sister. It's the French, what do you expect? Get past that and then relish the rest of the movie. I have it on DVD, and it's spectacular. It's also got better sound and picture quality on DVD...
Anyway, I have a hunch USAD will ask a TON of picky questions on who's who and who did what. This film helps keep faces with the names, and that helps in remembering. As I read on the revolution and see all the names, I remember the guys in the movie. Helps a lot, like I said.
Also, great performances in the film. The Polish actors' French had to be dubbed in, but one can pass over that in order to appreciate the greater whole of the film.
